I have been praying for the year ahead this morning. Big plans have been made and new adventures are on the horizon. This year I am going to do things that I have never done before – things that are going to stretch my faith. The reality of what it is going to take has set in and I am so aware that I cannot do it in my own strength.

Whenever I start to hear that inner voice say: ”You’re kidding right? Those dreams aren’t for you.”  I give it to God and ask for His strength. I find comfort knowing that doing something significant is bigger than my perceptions.

Don’t be scared that you are going to mess up God’s plans. As if you are the only dud ingredient in God’s great recipe. YOU are the key ingredient and God knows you, loves you and has plans for YOU. Ask for help today to be faithful in the big things God has called you to do.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Psalm 84:11
